PARTNERSHIP ENROLMENT GUIDELINES (PEG)

BACK GROUND

Good will fraternity started in 1998 as a small friendship association in Kololo Secondary School and later on expanded to University and a number of university students joined it. It is a social group geared at making friends from within and outside Uganda. This idea was started by youthful members of the Uganda society who believe in promoting generational ideologies.

The initiative was then registered by the Registrar of Companies as a Company Limited by Guarantee. It was later transformed into a Non Governmental Organization registered by the NGO Board in Uganda.

Below is an overview Goodwill fraternity (GF), its programs, partnerships, projects and guidelines on how to become a member. It further outlines the qualifications, terms and conditions, and working modalities of the Goodwill Fraternity.

A harmonious world where people have attained a peacefull, free, self sustaining livelihoods, and united society.

MISSION

To advocate, transform and empower people through coordinated strategic partnerships, gradually leading to a positive change on the socio-economic wellbeing of people in the world.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

To develop a local, national and global partnership on concerns of human beings.

Promote human and community development .

To act as a centre of Information and Knowledge on concerns of human beings.

Strengthen the capacity of the marginalized individuals to meet their basic needs and support sustainable local development initiatives.

Reduce extreme poverty among the most disadvantaged communities

Promote Gender Equality, and empower women predominantly those living in the rural areas and slum communities.

Reduce the incidence of malaria, HIV and AIDS, Tuberculosis and hygiene related infections and deaths.

To bring people of different age group, social and economical status into one partnership umbrella.

MODALITIES (APPROACHES)

Goodwill fraternity will achieve its objectives through a combination of different working approaches (or modalities).

PROGRAMS

Goodwill has a number of programs aimed at attaining its objectives:

HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

Our Human development program focus Career Guidance and Counseling Adult Education and Training Capacity building Rehabilitation and Resettlement Education and employment services.

CHARITY AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Under the charity and community support program, the activities include:
Talent development and promotion.Support to orphans and other vulnerable communities.Resources Mobilization and fundraising.Routine Visits i.e. to the sick, hospitals, prisons, cells/detention, schools, Internally Displaced Communities, leaders, etc.Water, Hygiene and Sanitation Projects. Friendship Clubs.Savings and Credit Scheme, loans Management and small Business Advisory support

CATEGORY OF PARTNERSHIP

Goodwill Fraternity (GF) is a broad based Global partnership Organization with three categories of partnerships including;

Corporate Partnership

The following shall qualify to be corporate partners of the Organization; Non Governmental Organization (NGOs), Community Based Organization (CBOs), Companies, Academic Institutes, Health and Religious Institutions, International Organizations; Faith based Organizations (FBOs), etc.

Golden Partnership
This category includes professionals, like lecturers, administrators, economists, doctors, lawyers, teachers, leaders, Business owners, etc.

Direct Partnership
Direct Partners are the cores of Goodwill Fraternity. Direct Partners shall include low income earners, market vendors, tax operators, Boda Boda cyclists, students, farmers, volunteers, etc within and outside Uganda.

FUNDING

Goodwill Fraternity generates its funds through a number of sources. including;
Members savings and interests charged on loansDonations from the public.Partnership Enrolment feesOrganization’s projects

Grants Donations

FEES STRUCTURE

A person intending to join Goodwill Fraternity is required to pay a annual Partnership Enrolment Fees as indicated below;

A Corporate Partner pays an annual enrolment fees as per the specified interests of a corporate/entity.

A Golden Partner is required to pay annual partnership enrolment fees of 300,000 Ug shillings (Three Hundred Shillings).

A Direct Partner is required to pay an annual partnership enrolment fee of 20,000shs (twenty thousand shillings).

Upon payment of the partnership enrolment fees, a member shall be issued with a Certificate of Partnership.
